Summary: This graphic novel round the world was broken down by three different stories. The stories were about Thomas Stevens, Nellie Bly and Joshua Slocum. Even though it was three different stories in one they share similar storylines. In fact each of the three people they all wanted to travel the world despite what other thought about it. Thomas made around on a bike that he created. Nellie was a girl report who wanted to travel the world people doubted her because she was a girl but she accomplished her goal. Lastly, Joshua built a boat to travel the world; he also accomplished his goal even though he had to go alone without his wife. Out of all three Joshua never returned.

Boxcar Children by Shannon Eric Denton
Summary: It is a story about three young children that loss both their parents and they go on the run. Henry the older brother was working to provide for the rest. When they found somewhere to live they didn’t want to keep the younger one. Because of this, they ran away through the woods. As they were wondering through the woods the kids found a box car. The kids grandfather wanted them to live with him but the kids didn’t want to leave their boxcar. At the end of the story, the grandfather surprises them with their box car in the back of his house.
